Kevin Chin Golf community partners reflect Kevin’s long-standing commitment to Eastchester, Lake Isle Country Club, junior golf, youth development, and families throughout Westchester County.

Golf can do more than teach a swing. At its best, the game helps young people build confidence, responsibility, sportsmanship, communication skills, and respect for others. Kevin Chin Golf is proud to support organizations, programs, and local causes that strengthen the community on and off the golf course.

Supporting the Eastchester and Westchester Community

Kevin Chin Golf is based at Lake Isle Country Club in Eastchester, NY. Since 2002, Kevin has worked with junior golfers, families, schools, local organizations, youth programs, community groups, and charitable causes throughout the area.

In 2018, the Town of Eastchester recognized Kevin’s community work with a proclamation naming October 23 as Kevin Chin Day. That recognition reflects a larger mission: using golf to teach, mentor, encourage, and support people in the local community.

BCW Tree House / Bereavement Center of Westchester

BCW Tree House / Bereavement Center of Westchester provides support for children, teens, adults, and families navigating grief after the death of a parent, sibling, spouse, or loved one.

Kevin Chin Golf is proud to support this important work through a free Junior Golf Bereavement Series for children and teens. The program gives young people a safe, welcoming outdoor environment where they can spend time around the game of golf, build confidence, and participate in a positive community activity.

Kevin Chin Golf does not provide clinical grief counseling, therapy, or mental-health treatment through this program. Families seeking bereavement support should contact BCW Tree House directly to learn more about its programs, intake process, and support services.

Metropolitan Golf Association and Youth Golf Pathways

Kevin Chin Golf is an official partner of the Metropolitan Golf Association and is proud to support youth golf development, caddie pathways, scholarship awareness, and leadership opportunities connected to the broader golf community.

Through programs connected to the MGA and GOLFWORKS, young people can gain exposure to the golf industry, work experience, mentorship, rules and etiquette, and future scholarship opportunities. This connects directly to Kevin Chin Golf’s broader youth development mission.

Many Kevin Chin Golf team members first came through the program as junior golfers or campers before growing into counselors, assistants, caddies, and mentors for younger students. That long-term pathway is one of the strongest parts of the Kevin Chin Golf community.

Eastchester High School

Kevin Chin Golf is proud to work with seniors from Eastchester High School through the school’s WISE Program. Students gain hands-on experience at Lake Isle Country Club while learning about golf instruction, junior programming, customer service, and daily business operations. This partnership helps Eastchester students develop leadership, responsibility, and practical workplace skills.

Scarsdale High School

Kevin Chin Golf welcomes seniors from Scarsdale High School through the school’s Senior Options Program. Working alongside our team at Lake Isle Country Club, students gain real-world experience in golf instruction, youth programming, hospitality, and business operations. This partnership helps Scarsdale students build professional skills while supporting junior golf programs for families throughout Westchester County.

Youth Leadership Through Golf

Kevin Chin Golf is more than a place for children to take golf lessons. It is a program that helps junior golfers grow over time.

Many students begin as campers or junior golfers. As they mature, some return as Counselors in Training, counselors, staff members, caddies, or mentors. Older students help younger golfers learn safety, etiquette, sportsmanship, and confidence around the course.

This creates a strong culture of continuity. Younger golfers see older students leading by example. Parents see a program built on trust, responsibility, and long-term development.

Wellness, Mental Health, and Personal Growth

Kevin Chin Golf also supports causes and organizations connected to wellness, resilience, mental health, and personal growth.

Kevin has supported organizations such as the National Alliance on Mental Illness and has maintained a personal commitment to wellness through movement, breath-work, yoga, and mental focus. These interests connect with Kevin’s broader belief that teaching should support the whole person, not just the golf swing.
