What Adult Golfers Learn

Adult golf programs Eastchester NY at Kevin Chin Golf are designed to help players understand the game more clearly.

Depending on the program, schedule, season, and group level, students may work on:

  • Grip, setup, posture, and alignment
  • Full swing fundamentals
  • Ball contact and ball flight
  • Chipping and pitching
  • Putting basics
  • Different clubs and when to use them
  • Golf rules and etiquette
  • Practice habits
  • Confidence and comfort around the course
  • Understanding what happened after each shot

The goal is not to overload students with swing thoughts. The goal is to make the game make more sense.

What to Bring

  • Golf clubs, if you have them (limited equipment available for use)
  • Comfortable golf-appropriate clothing
  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Any questions or goals you want to discuss with the instructor

Meeting Location

Lake Isle Golf Shop. During the winter, use the covered stairs to the right of the golf shop. DO NOT DRIVE UP HILL TO SHOP, park in the main parking lot.

Weather and Makeups

We continue in light rain when conditions are safe. Once we begin a class we do not cancel due to weather.

We have agendas/plans for approximately 25% for bad weather. Indoor activities include, but not limited to: putting, rules, etiquette, score-keeping, instructional videos, golf education, and trivia.

For example if there has been no rain for all our times together and we have one day remaining chances are the last day will be held no matter how bad the weather.

It’s possible we cancel for bad weather. This is hard to predict because of forecasts. Cancelled groups can come to another group to make up the time.

Missed days for personal reasons are not guaranteed a makeup or credit.
