Junior Golf Groups Taught by Kevin are small-group golf lessons for juniors who want more direct instruction than a larger staff-led program.
These groups are taught by Kevin Chin at Lake Isle Country Club in Eastchester, NY and are designed for students who want more focused coaching, more individualized feedback, and a smaller learning environment.
They are also a good option for families who have had trouble finding availability on Kevin’s private lesson schedule but still want their child to work directly with him.
Registration
Choose Tuesday or Saturday and the month. Cost for months with 5 days is $499, months with 4 days is $399.
*No refunds or switching.
*If a class falls on a national holiday, the golfer can make the class up by coming on another day, but they must coordinate with us before the beginning of their session!
*Please register early. If you register within 1 week of the start date you will incur a $25.00 late registration fee.*Groups are a two-person minimum (4 max). If minimum not met, you will be offered one-hour private lessons, switch to another group, or refund.

Space is limited, and Kevin-led groups may fill more quickly than larger junior programs.
What to Bring
Students should bring:
- Golf clubs, if they have them
- Comfortable golf-appropriate clothing
- Closed-toe shoes
- Water bottle
- Sunscreen
- Weather-appropriate layers
- Snack or money for the snack bar, if appropriate
- Any required medication or allergy information parents need staff to know
Limited equipment may be available for students who do not yet have clubs. Please contact Kevin Chin Golf before program begins if your child needs equipment.
Weather and Makeups
Golf is an outdoor sport, and weather may affect the schedule. Groups may continue in light rain when conditions are safe.
If weather affects a session, Kevin Chin Golf may shift to putting, rules, etiquette, scorekeeping, golf education, covered-area activities, or other golf-related learning when available.
If Kevin Chin Golf cancels a group session due to weather, makeup options may be available according to the current program policy. Missed days for personal reasons are not guaranteed a makeup or credit.
A Smaller, More Instructional Junior Golf Group
These groups are typically smaller than Kevin Chin Golf’s larger seasonal junior programs.
Most Kevin-led groups are built for approximately 2–4 students, depending on the session and registration. The smaller format allows Kevin to spend more time with each player while still giving students the energy and comfort of a group setting.
Students may work on full swing, short game, putting, setup, balance, ball contact, rules, etiquette, practice habits, and confidence.
How This Is Different From Staff-Led Junior Golf
Kevin Chin Golf’s larger staff-led junior programs are built around fun, safety, confidence, friendships, etiquette, and game-based learning.
Some students may benefit from doing both: a staff-led junior program for fun and consistency, plus a Kevin-led group for more focused improvement.
