4. Complete checkout and agree to the required terms/waiver.
5. Use the Client Portal to manage eligible appointments.

This policy does not apply to other programs.

All purchases are non-refundable. We do not offer makeups for participant-initiated absences. If Kevin Chin Golf cancels a group for weather or another operational reason, the rain-credit/makeup rules above apply.

Private and Semi-Private Lesson Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Less than 24 hours before your lesson*

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson will not receive a refund or lesson credit. *Semi-Private Lessons, see below.

• 24 hours to 7 days before your lesson

You may cancel or reschedule one lesson per purchased package as a one-time courtesy. Changes must be made through the customer portal.

• 7 or more days before your lesson

You may cancel or reschedule your lesson through the customer portal without penalty. Please make changes only when necessary so lesson times remain available to other students.

• *Semi-private lessons
  
  If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice but before the scheduled start time of your lesson, you will lose the lesson credit. However, you may request a coupon code to use toward a future purchase.
  
  The coupon code amount is calculated by subtracting the cost of a private lesson of the same length with the same instructor, as well as a $7.50 coupon code processing fee, from the total value of the canceled lesson.
  
  Example:
  A one-hour group lesson for 4 juniors with Kevin costs $69 per person, for a total of $276.

• Total value of the group lesson: $276
• One-hour private lesson with Kevin: – $139
• Coupon code processing fee: – $7.50
• Coupon code value: $129.50

The resulting $129.50 coupon code may be used by you or someone else toward a future purchase.

Exceptions for Illness or Family Emergency

If you need to cancel due to illness and can provide a doctor’s note, or due to a death in the family, please contact us directly at kevinc@kevinchingolf.com before your scheduled lesson so we can assist you.

Inclement Weather Cancellations;

Private and Semi-private lessons: the cancellation policy is waived for inclement weather. You must contact us before your scheduled lesson. No more than 24 hours before, since weather reports change. 

Group cancellations are decided by Kevin Chin Golf as early as we can. You will receive a rain credit that allows you to join another group with the same or lesser amount of time (based on availability). See your group’s rain policy.

Group cancellations: As long as conditions are safe we run programs, sometimes even in rain! Temperature is typically not a consideration for canceling. Cancellations are decided by Kevin Chin Golf as early as we can. You will receive a credit that allows you to join another group with the same or lesser amount of time (based on availability). See your group’s rain policy. Bronxville Adult School may have a different policy. 

During weather delays or bad weather, we may shift to putting, short game, rules, etiquette, scorekeeping, golf education, trivia, or other golf-related activities.

If the weather cancels a class, I will post a notice on my website, KevinChinGolf.com, and on my Twitter account, @kevinchingolf. You can also contact me via text at (914) 260-9459 or email. (you can also call, but I may not pick up my cell immediately if I’m on the golf course) All cancelled groups can make up the time at another group that is of the same or less time.

Generally once a group session begins we will not cancel. Only exception is our 6 hour camp options we will cancel half, giving you a 3 hour credit. 

Holidays; If your group is scheduled on a holiday and you want to come to another group you must coordinate with us before you register to see if there is availability. Not applicable to private and semi-private lessons
