A Fun, Safe, Game-Based Learning Environment

Kevin Chin Golf Fall Programs are Run by staff.

Kevin Chin Golf Fall Programs are built around fun, safety, camaraderie, and confidence-building.

For a more in-depth description of our programs please see our Philosophy page.

Families looking for more technical, individualized instruction, please look at our private lessons, semi-private lessons, or junior Groups taught directly by Kevin.

Typical breakdown in what we do is as follows (this is in no way a guarantee, it’s just a general idea) ;

  • The first day of the month is mostly spent reviewing safety protocols, range etiquette, and (depending on course availability) on-course etiquette and pace of play. We also cover the logistics of where bathrooms are, snack bar, lounge areas etc.
  • 30% on course
  • 30% short game (chipping + putting, typical during inclement weather)
  • 25% range
  • 10% golf trivia, rules, and etiquette (typical during inclement weather)
  • 5% exercises (typical during inclement weather)

Drop-off and Pickup

Parents and guardians are responsible for drop-off and pickup. Transportation is NOT provided. Meet at golf shop/driving range.

Weather and Makeups

We continue in light rain when conditions are safe. Once we begin a class we do not cancel due to weather.

We have agendas/plans for approximately 25% for bad weather. Indoor activities include, but not limited to: putting, rules, etiquette, score-keeping, instructional videos, golf education, and trivia.

For example if there has been no rain for all our times together and we have one day remaining chances are the last day will be held no matter how bad the weather.

It’s possible we cancel for bad weather. This is hard to predict because of forecasts. Cancelled groups can come to another group to make up the time.

Missed days for personal reasons are not guaranteed a makeup or credit.
