Kevin Chin Golf summer camps are led by senior staff and assisted by team members.

Keeping the tradition of having home grown talent we offer our Counselor-in-Training Program, which prepares older students to become confident mentors and the next generation of camp leaders.

A Fun, Safe, Game-Based Learning Environment

Kevin Chin Golf summer camps are built around fun, safety, camaraderie, and confidence-building.

For a more in-depth description of our programs please see our Philosophy page.

Families looking for more technical, individualized instruction, please look at our private lessons, semi-private lessons, or junior Groups taught directly by Kevin.

Typical breakdown in what we do is as follows (this is in no way a guarantee, it’s just a general idea) ;

  • The first day of the week is mostly spent reviewing safety protocols, range etiquette, and (depending on course availability) on-course etiquette and pace of play. We also cover the logistics of where bathrooms are, snack bar, lounge areas etc.
  • 30% on course
  • 30% short game (chipping + putting, typical during inclement weather)
  • 25% range
  • 10% golf trivia, rules, and etiquette (typical during inclement weather)
  • 5% exercises (typical during inclement weather)

Weather and Makeups

We continue in light rain when conditions are safe. Once we begin a class we do not cancel due to weather (exception, 6 hour camp can be half cancelled)

We have agendas/plans for approximately 25% for bad weather. Indoor activities include, but not limited to: putting, rules, etiquette, score-keeping, instructional videos, golf education, and trivia.

For example if there has been no rain Monday through Thursday, chances are Friday of that week will be held no matter how bad the weather.

It’s possible we cancel for bad weather. This is hard to predict because of forecasts. Cancelled camps can come to another group to make up the time.

Missed camp days for personal reasons are not guaranteed a makeup or credit.
